Dear everyone!

So so sorry I haven't written on here for so long but having a newborn and five other children is proving to be VERY busy but absolutely amazing!

Baby Grace is now a huge 10 weeks old and we are all enjoying every precious moment. She is such an angel- i am sure it is connected to always being loved and petted but she is such a good and placid little soul and barely cries! She is still sleeping often although does seem to awake around midnight but then her daddy coos at her for hours-n he is firmly wrapped around her little finger!!!!!!!

Sadly my RA returned 7 weeks after she was born- over ~Christmas my knees flared and my (dreaded) hip is twitching but hasn't 'gone' yet..........I ended up seeing the rheumy last Friday and had a big 65mls of cloudy rheumatoid fluid aspirated and a 100mg steroid jab in the knee and it is now slim and lovely once again,. but for how long???

We have a very busy year- my eldest son is taking three IGSCEs in the summer so what with teaching them all and having a newborn plus the RA rearing it's head I feel pretty stressed some days although nothing upon nothing can eliminate the sheer joy of this beautiful baby!!

Will send photos at some point,

God Bless!

Amanda

Dear Amanda,
This is so strange - I was thinking of you this morning and
wondering when you would post on the site again - and
here you are!
Fantastic news that baby Grace is now 10 weeks old and
has such a beautiful nature.
I was sorry to read that your R.A has flared, especially when you
have so much to do.
I am looking forward to seeing the photo's when you post them.
Also, I have really missed reading your blog!
Do you think you will Blog again when you have enough time?
I think it would be most interesting for others who have R.A and
are either expecting or wanting a baby.
With warm regards and best wishes,
from FionaSmile

Hi Amanda

Trust me to spot your thread as I am about to shut down. Just had Tilly and Ted neutered today and having to half watch them so stitches don't get licked out!! Never realised it was going to be so difficult!!

Sorry to hear about the RA. Hope you're feeling a little better and the family are well. Really must get in touch with you!

Hi Amanda,

Lovely to see you posting! Baby Grace sounds absolutely gorgeous - ten weeks old already : where on earth does the time go?

So sorry the RA is returning with a vengeance - hope the steroid jab helps a lot. Quite frankly, I don`t know how you do all the things you do, and I`m filled with admiration. I felt tired just reading your post!

I`m sure Ben will fly through his exams.

Take care,

Kathleen x

Hi Amanda,

So glad to read your update today, glad your little treasure has settled in well and is bringing you all so much joy. I remember the feeling well when I had my daughters. We were totally besotted with each off them. I cannot wait to see your pictures. Take care and look after yourselves.

Love Lorna x

Hi Amanda like others have said it's lovely to see you posting. Despite the flare up of the ra it sounds as if you are having a wonderful time wth Grace, good luck to your son with his exams. Looking forward to seeing photos.

Hi Amanda, thanks for the update, sorry haven't been in touch for ages.

Hope the flare up quietens down and you can spend your energies on your lovely children.
